Midas shall adhere to the highest standards of professional integrity and shall refrain from any action that will bring disrepute to our company.
Midas Directors, staff and sub-contractors shall conduct themselves with courtesy and consideration towards our clients and their representatives at all times.
Midas shall accept responsibility for all authorised actions of our staff.
Midas shall not discriminate nor deny services to any person by virtue of race, creed, sex, marital status, disability or country of national origin.
Midas shall ensure that all advertising shall meet the standard of fairness, decency, accuracy and honesty. We shall not use misleading statements or exaggerated claims in our dealings with clients and will take reasonable steps to make sure that all statements, whether oral or written, made about our properties are accurate.
Midas shall ensure that any client's monies received are paid into a separate client account and we shall properly account for all monies held.
Midas shall maintain the confidentiality of client information and undertakes not to release such information without the client's permission.
Midas shall provide written confirmation to the client. We shall confirm any individual agreements in writing in a timely manner.
Midas shall operate with transparency and shall make clear to the client, prior to taking a deposit, any additional Midas charges for which they may be liable.
Midas shall ensure that the client has advance notice of any charges, fees or costs that shall apply in the event of a cancellation of an order or instruction.
Midas shall refund any deposit paid before exchange of contracts, together with any interest that may be due, when we are asked, in writing, to do so.
Midas shall respond to client communications promptly and shall provide a regular update (minimum bi-monthly) on the progress of our developments.
Midas encourages clients to offer improvement suggestions for our developments. We shall endeavour to include as many as possible provided they do not conflict with the design, ambience or ethos of the development, that they are cost neutral, and that they would not adversely affect, nor reduce the enjoyment of, other property owners.
Midas shall endeavour to offer the highest standard of build quality in the locality that will be supported by a better than most level of guarantee.
Midas shall inform clients of any design changes or amendments that may be required to the overall development plan as soon as reasonably practicable.
Midas shall offer a range of tile, kitchen and bathroom options on our developments. We recognise that some property owners may have a desire to purchase their own designs and, provided that the trade skills required are identical to our own fit-out skill requirements, we shall be pleased to fit the client's purchase at no extra charge.
Midas shall always recommend the use of an independent solicitor for international property transactions.
Midas shall comply with all applicable local laws.
